We had the Silver Palette Show today. In Animal Category I won 1st. place with "Breaking Through". In Portrait Category I won 2nd place with "Bootlegger". It was a great show. A total of 23 artist and 65 pieces of artwork!

So it was no mistake to place the picture on your blog from the inception. Congratulations! You are a wonderful artist.
Another indication of an artist is when you see something you love and you don't say, "How much is it?", rather you say, "I gotta figure out how to make that."

Thanks Jan. It was quite a surprise because as you can see I usually do Portrait work. The judge wrote some encouraging comments to all the winners so I think I will keep on my endeavors so do some more sea life. I visited your page and just love the fall leaf bouquets! I have to try it. I got to get out and see if that little snow we got ruined the leaves!
